Twice a year, Matt Black Barn opens its doors for unique and inspiring Open Day experiences.
Visitors can expect a rich programme of artist-led workshops, offering creative opportunities for people of a range of ages and abilities to get involved.
Studio tours, provide behind-the-scenes access to the work spaces of Laura Ford and Andrew Sabin, offering an insight into their unique creative processes. These guided tours offer a chance to speak with the artists and get a closer look at how ideas take shape and evolve in the studio setting.

All tickets must be purchased in advance.

Please aim to arrive on site around 10 minutes before your workshop / Tour / event is due to begin.
You will receive all event-specific advice upon purchasing your ticket.

Getting HereBy Car: The Black Barn is conveniently located just off the A27 near Chichester. Ample parking is available on-site. For precise directions, use the postcode PO18 8RQ in your GPS or mapping app.
By Train: The nearest train station is Southbourne Station, a 15-minute walk from The Black Barn. Southbourne Station is on the Southern Rail line with regular services from Chichester and Havant. From the station, follow Priors Leaze Lane towards the venue.
By Bus: Local bus services 700 and 54 from St Richards Hospital Chichester connect to Hambrook. Please check local bus timetables for routes from your local area.
